The Elmbrook Student Art Show has been in existence since 1966. It is held in May at the
Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. Brookfield Central and Brookfield East High School
each select 35 pieces of student artwork for display and judging. An outside judge is hired
and selects 2 pieces as "Best of Show," 8 pieces as "Awards of Excellence" and 6 pieces as
"Honorable Mention." These student winners are given a ribbon and the top 10 winners are
given cash prizes.
