Each summer, the Brookfield Junior Woman's Club sponsors a safety program for children
entering 5-year old kindergarten in the fall. The program emphasizes traffic, fire, and
personal safety. The program is taught by certified teachers along with special guests from
the Brookfield Police and Fire Departments. The mayor makes a special appearance as
well! Brookfield teens assist the kids with special activities (a great way to meet future
babysitters)! The kids will love the neighborhood simulation set up on the school playground
to teach traffic safety! Registration is held in May. Safety Town sessions are held in June and
July.
